Grady-White's new Chase 273 is built on the same proven hull as its 27-foot Sailfish model, but features an all-new center console layout for maximum fishing room. The bow has a large seating area that can accommodate optional cushions and bolsters, and there's a pair of 104-quart insulated fishboxes beneath the seats that can also be used as dry-storage areas.
A walk-through area between the seats provides a level walkway from bow to stern, but you can also order an optional insert that turns the whole bow area into a level casting deck. The console contains a head compartment that features a deep sink with a standard fresh water system, and the entire area is ventilated. The 273 can be ordered with an optional T-top with rod holders, spreader lights and net storage.
The 65-square-foot cockpit features a 32-gallon live well with an 1,100 gph pump, and a water-supply grate that spreads the water evenly throughout the well. A 185-quart insulated fishbox is standard, and there is lockable rod storage in the gunwales for either conventional or fly tackle.
